Three charged with stealing credit cards from vehicle in Suffolk County

Three people have been charged after authorities say they stole credit cards from a vehicle on Long Island.

The Riverhead Police Department said Keval Gray, 31, David Andre, 29, both of Amityville, and Carizma Brown, 31, of Central Islip, were each charged with six counts of criminal possession in the fourth degree. of goods stolen during the incident on Friday 28 January.

Riverhead Police received a report from a property owner on Howard Street in Wading River of a suspicious male on his property around 4:45 a.m. Friday, authorities said.

The owner discovered the man searched his vehicle and stole his wife’s credit cards, police said.

The owner then allegedly drove around the area and saw a vehicle moving away quickly as he approached.

Several police cars responded to the area and located the vehicle on Gerald Street, police said.

While questioning the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Gray, Andre and Brown, an officer saw a number of credit cards in the vehicle, which were identified as the credit cards stolen from the owner, authorities said. .

Gray, Andre and Brown have been arrested and are being held pending arraignment, police said.
