Popular restaurant opens brand new Long Island location in West Islip

Hey cheesesteak lovers, you’ve got a new place to stock up on one of Long Island’s favorite spots.

Chiddy’s Cheesesteak has opened a new Suffolk County location in West Islip.

The new location features all of the same menu items as the restaurant’s other locations on Long Island, including its food truck, and business has been buoyant since the doors opened.

Voted Best Long Island Cheesesteak by Bethpage Long Island for 2022, the restaurant serves up juicy sandwiches accompanied by imported Philadelphia buns and Cheez Whiz.

In case you’ve been one of the few who’ve never been to Chiddy’s favorites, of course, the signature cheesesteak with peppers, onions and mushrooms with Cheez Whiz and provolone cheese, plus their fresh cut fries and their delicious empanadas.

And while cheesesteaks are the star of the show, the restaurant offers a host of other items, including wraps, salads, and hot dogs, among others.

A fun aspect of the new location is that the owners actually moved one of their food trucks inside and made it the order counter.

The service is friendly and quick, making it a great place for a quick lunch or a quick dinner to go.

The new location is at 510 Union Blvd., West Islip.
