Missing child alert for Suffolk County teenager canceled
NEW YORK – Police have canceled the missing child alert for a Suffolk County teenager who has gone missing for the second time this week.
Jacob Sanchez, a 19-year-old white man from Brentwood, is said to be in imminent danger. Authorities did not say why the alert was canceled.

At the time of his initial disappearance on November 29, police said Jacob was suicidal and may be in need of medical attention.

A missing child alert is activated when a person under the age of 21 is reported missing and considered to be in danger due to special circumstances – such as cognitive impairment or medical condition – that put them at serious risk. of injury or death, according to the New York state’s missing persons clearinghouse.

Description of the child: 6’1 “tall, 220 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. Wearing a gray hoodie and black sweatpants.
Last seen: Kaymac Street in the hamlet of Brentwood, County Suffolk. around 9:38 p.m. on 12/01/2021.
