Clare: a teacher-student duo opens a new aesthetic clinic
A cosmetic clinic focusing on “natural-looking enhancements” is opening in a Suffolk town, run by a teacher-student duo.
Adam Branch, 45, opened a state-of-the-art medical aesthetics and skin care clinic in Clare.
He has teamed up with Mia Boorman, 30, who previously set up two branches of Derma Clinic Aesthetics in Norwich and London.
Miss Boorman was Mr Branch’s teacher while he completed his training and they are now embarking on this joint venture.
“We got along really well during practice and thought opening the clinic together would be a great idea,” Branch said.
The couple said they love Clare as a town and look forward to offering “a bit of everything” to local residents.
“We have packages for everyone,” Mr. Branch said.
“It’s definitely not one size fits all.”
There are a range of treatments on offer including skin rejuvenation, scar reduction and anti-aging treatments to replace the natural loss of collagen.
Mr Branch was an advanced clinical practitioner at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
He says he’s always had an interest in skincare, especially when it comes to wound and scar care.
Mr. Branch said: “We had been looking for a space for a good six months.
“It took a bit of time to find the right premises, but I walked straight into this place in Clare High Street and immediately said yes.”
Although he lives in Bury St Edmunds, Mr Branch says he has considered Clare a “beautiful place” since he was a child.
Mr Branch added: “It’s an exciting new project, so Mia and I trust each other.
“We aim to slowly grow our customer base through word of mouth and referrals, so we work to build trust first.”
For those who aren’t sure if they’d like to give the aesthetic clinic a shot, Mr. Branch encourages them to make an appointment for a consultation before deciding.
He said, “We all want to make natural-looking enhancements, so please always reach out to us to cover any concerns and talk about your expectations.”
